INTER-SAFE ANNOUNCES NEW EMERGENCY ESCAPE SLIDE CAPABILITIES

MIAMI - Inter-Safe, an AMG company, today announced the certification by the Federal Aviation Administration of its new Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 emergency escape slide repair facilities in Miami, Florida. The state-of the-art repair facility will allow Inter-Safe to offer full in-house emergency slide test, repair, overhaul, sales and exchange solutions for operators of these aircraft around the world.

This certification is the first stage of a planned expansion of emergency slide repair capabilities at Inter-Safe. Later this year, repair capabilities will be added for Boeing 757, 767 and Airbus A330 and A340 aircraft. Test equipment and tooling assets for Inter-Safe’s new slide shops were acquired from US Airways, and technical training of Inter-Safe repair specialists was performed at Air France Industries emergency slide shops in Paris.
