AMG Acquires American Composites
AMG ANNOUNCES ACQUISITION OF AMERICAN COMPOSITES
MIAMI - Aero Maintenance Group today announced the acquisition of American Composites, a leading FAA/EASA certified repair facility for composite flight control surfaces, nacelles, thrust reversers and airframe structures for commercial aircraft. American Composites is located in close proximity to Miami International Airport in Medley, FL in a 74,000 square-foot state-of-the-art facility with clean room and a wide-range of in-house testing and manufacturing capabilities, including a 6' x 24' autoclave.
"The added capabilities brought by American Composites will complement many of AMG's existing repair programs and provide several new product lines to offer our customers," said Ben Quevedo, chief executive officer of AMG.
"Together with our aircraft structures capabilities at our Flite Components facility in Dallas, AMG can now provide airframe structural support services for most major commercial and regional aircraft types in operation today."
