AMG, AFI AND KLM E&M LAUNCH MIAMI LOGISTICS CENTER

MIAMI - Aero Maintenance Group today announced the opening of a new state-of-the-art facility near the Miami International Airport that will coordinate and support the component repair and distribution activities of AMG, Air France Industries and KLM Engineering and Maintenance in North and South America. Managed by AMG, the Miami Logistics Center will house AMG’s Miami-based rotables and expendables inventories along with AFI and KLM E&M inventory pools dedicated to full component support programs and sales in the region.
Miami Logistics Center at a glance:
• Expansive climate-controlled warehousing and administrative offices organized to maximize efficiencies.
• Uses latest technologies to consolidate the supply, storage and inventory distribution activities of AMG, AFI and KLM E&M under one computer system.
• On-site customer service call center to quickly provision and initiate shipping process for customer orders.
• Experienced shipping and receiving staff to expedite materials per strict customer compliance and customs requirements.
• Round-the-clock AOG coverage for spare parts sales and exchanges supported by Air-Pro, an AMG company.
• Enhanced capabilities for fast processing of over 400 repaired and overhauled components per month in support of group activities in the region by Aero Technologies, an AMG company.
The Miami Logistics Center will be staffed by AMG, AFI and KLM E&M representatives. AMG will also operate a comprehensive 24-hour AOG service at the Miami Logistics Center to provide Airbus, Boeing and regional aircraft operators around the world with a central access point to in-house inventory solutions as well as the extensive AMG-AFI-KLM E&M logistic network.
