AIR FRANCE INDUSTRIES PARTNERS WITH AERO MAINTENANCE GROUP
IN NORTH AMERICA

MIAMI – Today, Air France Industries joined Aero Maintenance Group at the Paris Air Show to announce a partnership to provide comprehensive repair, overhaul and inventory support for Airbus, Boeing and regional jet operators in North America. The agreement, signed on May 28, 2005, includes a strategic investment by Air France Industries in Aero Maintenance Group and allies AMG’s experience with Airbus and Boeing products and the North American marketplace with AFI’s extensive repair capabilities and expertise with Airbus aircraft and European manufacturers of aviation components.

“The combination of AFI and AMG expertise on a broad scale of products and services for both Airbus and Boeing families will provide US and North American operators with innovative and customized component support solutions on a highly demanding market,” said Alain Bassil, president of AFI.

The partnership builds upon a cooperation agreement previously signed by AFI and AMG in July, 2004 to support Airbus and regional jet components in North America. That agreement included the exchange of technical services and marketing capabilities as well as the installation of new technologies such as an ATEK 5000 test bench at AMG repair facilities in Miami, Florida. This new alliance will enable AFI and AMG to work more closely to develop local component repair and inventory support capabilities and provide the latest technologies for Boeing and Airbus operators in the Americas, including the planned location of an ATEK 6000 test system at AMG facilities in 2006.

“We are pleased that Air France Industries has selected AMG as its partner in the North American marketplace,” said Ben Quevedo, CEO of AMG. “This partnership will greatly benefit our customers through expanded repair capabilities, inventory availability, and significant cost savings.”

Aero Maintenance Group provides repair and parts support services to commercial, regional and general aviation customers worldwide through three FAA licensed subsidiary companies: Aero Technologies, Air-Pro, and Inter-Safe. Aero Technologies, located in Miami, Florida, focuses on the repair, overhaul, inventory support and sales of pneumatic, hydraulic, avionics and electro-mechanical components and accessories. Air-Pro, with facilities in Miami, Long Beach, California and Copenhagen, Denmark, supports the commercial, military, regional, and general aviation markets through the manufacture and distribution of flexible hose assemblies. Inter-Safe, located in Miami, specializes in interior refurbishment and safety product repair and overhaul for commercial airlines and regional jets.

Air France Industries is a leading multi-product aircraft maintenance provider with a worldwide network, a workforce of 10,000, and more than 600 aircraft supported on long-term contacts on behalf of approximately 100 major airlines. Air France Industries is the brand name under which the Air France maintenance arm markets its services.
